چکیده

The success of an agent mediated e-market system lies in the underlying reputation management system to improve the quality of services in an information asymmetric e-market. Reputation provides an operatable metric for establishing trustworthiness between mutually unknown online entities. Reputation systems encourage honest behaviour and discourage malicious behaviour of participating agents in the e-market. A dynamic reputation model would provide virtually instantaneous knowledge about the changing e-market environment and would utilise Internets’ capacity for continuous interactivity for reputation computation. This paper proposes a dynamic reputation framework using reinforcement learning and fuzzy set theory that ensures judicious use of information sharing for inter-agent cooperation. This framework is sensitive to the changing parameters of emarket like the value of transaction and the varying experience of agents with the purpose of improving inbuilt defense mechanism of the reputation system against various attacks so that e-market reaches an equilibrium state and dishonest agents are weeded out of the market.

A Dynamic Model for Sharing Reputation of Sellers among Buyers for Enhancing Trust in Agent Mediated e-market

Reputation systems aim to reduce the risk of loss due to untrustworthy participants. This loss is aggravated by dishonest advisors trying to pollute the e-market environment for their selfinterest. A major task of a reputation system is to promote and encourage advisors who repeatedly respond with fair advice and to apply an opinion filtering or honesty checking mechanism to detect and resist d...

Analysis of the Evolutionary Game Theory in Agent-Based Computational Systems: OPEC Oil-Producing Countries

This study suggests a new method for analysing the behavioral economics issues in the framework of game theory. In this context, bounded rational agents interact with one another in a strategic manner. Therefore, conventional economic modeling techniques are unable to explaine this kind of interactions. In this regard, evolutionary game theory and agent-based modeling are known as the most suit...

Economics of Dynamic Pricing in a Reputation Brokered Agent Mediated Marketplace

We describe an Agent Mediated marketplace, with dynamically changing reputation ratings. In this marketplace, the seller reputations are updated in a collaborative fashion based on the performance of the user in the delegated tasks. We study the market with computer simulations of multiagent interactions, where sellers learn how to price their services dynamically. We first present some simple ...
